Bali Weather and Seasons 

Bali exists in a tropical zone that it shares with Indonesia too. It sits a few degrees south of the equator and as such, it is characterised by consistently high temperatures and humidity throughout the entire year. The best time of year to visit depends on what you’re hoping to see and do while there.  

Temperatures are consistent throughout the year, hovering between 26˚C and 28˚C. However the rainfall does vary. December to March can see between 20 and 27 days of rain, with January being the wettest month. However, April to September is a a lot better. June and July are the best two months of the year with an average of 4 days a month of rainfall. There are very definite seasons.

Dry Season: April to October - less rain, cooler breezes

Wet Season: November to March - more rain, hotter, more quiet

Dry Season (April to October):

Wet Season (November to March):

The dry season in Bali has more comforatble daily temperatures ranging between 27-32°C. This is predominantly when the tourists want to holiday in Bali, because it is predictably sunny and dry. The humidity is also fairly low and less clammy, providing cooler evenings from the fresh breeze.

The beaches are a haven of activity from watersports, to sunbathing, walking and relaxing. They are also kept cleaner. It is no secret that during the rainy season, debris is flushed down the roadside drains and into the ocean, before the waves disgourge the rubbish back onto the beaches. The dry season keeps the litter away and this makes for a much more enjoyable holiday. Blue skies, warm tempeatures, bustling markets and shopping districts.
